My happy sweet adorable lovely darling baby boy is 5 months old. His little personality has blossomed and i cannot get enough of this little stinker. 5 months of pure joy. Happy 5 months baby boy.

Everyday he does something new that melts my heart. I am so not ready for that. By 5 months your baby should have more than doubled their birth weight. For now im in denial.

You love interacting with people and are not shy at all. The average weight for a 5 month old baby is 15 2 pounds for girls and 16 6 pounds for boys. Of course that doesn t mean your 5 month old should weigh and measure exactly that. The average length aka height is 25 2 inches for girls and 25 9 inches for boys.

The only time you really cry is if you wake up hungry in the middle of the night or if you get too overtired before you go to sleep. Im going to freak out next month when hes halfway to being 1 year old. Some babies may have even added an extra pound or two to that number and some babies may be just approaching the benchmark. He will clap smile and maybe even babble along.

All babies develop differently but on average your baby will gain an additional 1 2 pounds this month and add close to 0 8 inches in length. He still seems so tiny and like such a baby to me im going to have such a hard time one day when i realize how big hes gotten.
